Aviation Summer Camp
Our aviation summer camp for high school students is the perfect opportunity for students who are interested in aviation and aerospace. Led by current, practicing aviation professionals this four-day, hands-on experience offers an in-depth introduction to many areas of the aviation industry.
Your child will gain a well-rounded understanding of aviation, from its rich history to the latest developments in drones. Students will participate in a variety of hands-on STEM activities that are both engaging and educational.
Aviation Camp Overview
Over the course of the four day aviation summer camp, students will explore a wide range of hands on STEM activities including:
- Aviation History – Explore the earliest pioneers to modern marvels in aviation through hands-on activities.
- All About Drones – Participate in friendly drone competitions while learning about drone operating best-practices and flying opportunities.
- Field Excursion – Visit a local aviation area of interest on a field trip experience.
- In the Hangar – Learn about the ins-and-outs of aviation operations and maintenance and add new tools and experiences to your skill-set.
- Take Flight – Fly in a real flight simulator, learn about the principles of flight, perform maneuvers and discover how you can become a pilot.
